Socks and Cereal Drive
Two times a year, the Legacy Lions participate in a Giving Tree project. Throughout the month of February we collected socks and cereal to donate to the Heartland Hope Mission. Heartland Hope Mission helps working poor families by providing them with some of life’s most basic staples including: a week’s supply of food, clothing, hygiene items, SNAP assistance and job resources. Our generous Lions donated 236 boxes of cereal and 43 pounds of socks. To celebrate we set up a giant domino fall down the hallways of the school!
