A NEW CHOICE IN EDUCATION
Mrs. Ferris has a love and passion for children. Before coming to Legacy in 2022, she stayed home with her children and was a paraprofessional in public schools.
I first visited Legacy when our granddaughter was in Pre-K, and she invited me to Grandparents Day. I was so impressed by the small class sizes and all the happy children. The vast outdoor play areas were also so intriguing to me.
What is your work experience that relates to children?
I stayed home with our four children and, during this time, spent many hours volunteering in their schools. I was also a paraprofessional in public schools for the last several years. I enjoy working with children and have taught Bible school classes to preschool-elementary kids at church.
What are your interests and hobbies?
I enjoy reading, sewing, having coffee with friends, and spending time with family, including our nine grandchildren.
