Music Specialist
A NEW CHOICE IN EDUCATION
Mrs. Peterson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Education. She has been a music educator for over 31 years and recently retired from Papillion La Vista Community Schools before coming to Legacy in 2022.
I am excited to teach children music at Legacy School. What great opportunities we will have outside and inside to make music together. I look forward to working with a welcoming staff and making new connections with students through singing, playing, and dancing.

What is your work experience that relates to children?
I am a music educator of 31 years. I recently retired from Papillion La Vista Community Schools, where I taught preschool – 6th grade students. I am a Music Director with the Rose Summer Theater camps and teach private piano and voice lessons.
What are your interests and hobbies?
I enjoy coffee in the morning, flowers, taking walks, singing, and spending time with my family.
