I grew up teaching in my basement to all my stuffed animals! I knew I always wanted to be a teacher and was so excited to have my own classroom! I took my first teaching job in Houston, Texas and taught middle school math for 3 years. When I moved back to Nebraska I taught 6th grade in Bennington at Pine Creek and then Bennington Middle School, where I taught for 6 years. I then moved to Wichita, Kansas and taught middle school math in Goddard Public Schools for one year before moving back to Omaha and working here! I love being around kids, I still babysit and overnight nanny for many families because kids bring me so much joy with all their creativity.

I love being creative! I grew up in 4H, so I enjoy sewing and quilting, right now I love making dog scarves for my 2 pups! I love walking my pups and playing fetch with them. I also enjoy playing piano and the ukulele. I make online scrapbooks through Shutterfly because I LOVE taking pictures! I am newly married and love baking for my new husband and staff! I love to travel and collect postcards of all my travels and still send postcards to my grandparents where ever we go! I feel like I learn best when I am traveling, learning about history and new cultures and experiencing different foods! I love to incorporate all this into my classroom.
