A NEW CHOICE IN EDUCATION
Ms. Cole holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies/Business. She taught in various countries before coming to Legacy in 2021.
I chose Legacy because I appreciate the approaches they take when it comes to learning. Students learn differently, and Legacy recognizes that and does something about it. I also love nature and being outside. Legacy emphasizes being outside, and I love that.
What is your education background?
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (DMACC)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies/Business (Buena Vista University)
- Currently working towards receiving her Master’s in Nonprofit Management
What is your work experience that relates to children?
I have taught in Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, China, and South Africa. I am passionate about traveling and learning about other cultures and enjoy teaching others. In addition, I taught preschool for three years in Council Bluffs.
What are your interests and hobbies?
I enjoy running, hiking, swimming, and photography.
