Fundraising Success Story!
Unlike many private schools, Legacy does not set an annual donation requirement for its families. The only out-of-pocket expectations are tuition and uniforms.
Tuition covers the everyday expenses associated with the education of our students, but there is a need for additional funds to cover things like student scholarships, field trips, extra student experiences, teacher grants, and select technological improvements.
Our Parent Advisory Board is responsible for raising these additional funds and managing the allocation of this budget. Through their efforts and our Friends of Legacy, we were able to exceed our 2024-25 donation goals. So the PAB rewarded our students with a Rock N Roar Stampede Celebration!
The day started with a fun run around Flanagan Lake (or the baseball field for the younger ones!). It was a great opportunity to see everyone challenge themselves and push their way across the finish line – just like they did with the fundraiser!
One of the prizes for reaching a fundraising milestone was being able to throw a pie in the principal’s face. One of our fifth grader’s got the reward of being able to smash a pile of whipped cream all over Mr. Grove. What a great sport!
The afternoon ended with hours of running around in the bounce houses with teachers and friends!
