Camp Legacy counselors facilitate daily activities, including a flag-raising ceremony, arts & crafts, camp songs & skits, special events, sports, water activities, and plenty of outdoor time! Camp Legacy registration is held in February of each year and is not exclusive to current Legacy School students. We welcome new campers every summer. For more information on either our Lower Camp or Upper Camp, visit our camp website: www.camplegacyomaha.com.

All exterior doors are always locked. All visitors are buzzed into the building and must check-in at the front office.  At the time of registration, parents must list other adults to whom we may release their child.  All Legacy School staff members are trained in Standard Response Protocol actions for lockout, lockdown, evacuation, and shelter security.

Is there breakfast or lunch served?

Legacy School offers breakfast for students each morning at 8:00 am.  Lunch is served in the cafeteria daily and is open to all Legacy students.  Lunch menus are available online through Sycamore.  A 15-25 minute outdoor recess accompanies lunchtime every day.

How can I become involved?

Legacy School offers a variety of ways for parents to become involved. From family events to room parents, book fairs to read alouds, parents are always welcome to volunteer at Legacy School.

Why do current families get to enroll first?

We like to think of our school like a family. The students create strong bonds with the staff and other students. By allowing current students to enroll first, it ensures consistency in their school career.
