Winter Activities in Omaha

Does this time of the year have your family in a slump? We get it. Beating the Winter blues can be a challenge. While we wait for spring, what Winter activities in Omaha can help spark the energy that we (and our kids) need?

Activities in the Omaha Community

Trampoline and Adventure Parks

Burn some energy and jump at one of Omaha’s trampoline and adventure parks. Urban Air Omaha, located on the corner of 156th and Q in Millard, offers families the ultimate cold-weather adventure. Climbing walls, a ropes course, tubes playground, a warrior course, and trampolines, makes this adventure park a go-to spot to get the Winter wiggles out!

Indoor Putt-Putt

Test out your family’s mini-golf skills by going to Medieval Putt. Located at 20915 Cumberland Drive, in Elkhorn, Nebraska, Medieval Putt is an 18 hole putt course. Course obstacles include a foam pit, ball maze, catapult, a zip line, crossbow, and a pinball obstacle. Also, you can find fun features such as a 40-foot long flying dragon, a full-size castle, and even a dragon ride!

Activity Centers

One activity center that families can enjoy all-day is at Mahoney State Park. Located at 28500 W Park Hwy in Ashland, Nebraska, families can enjoy the indoor playground for just $2/person (2 and younger are FREE). Additional Winter activities at Mahoney State Park include sledding, cross country skiing, ice skating, ice fishing and more! Please note: you must purchase a state park fee to enter Mahoney.

We are proud to unveil our new Legacy School Scholarship Program. Students who attend Legacy from 1st-6th grade are eligible for a $500 scholarship towards higher learning. This scholarship can be used for college or trade school upon graduation from high school. With that said, we are very excited to give back to our students as we know each child has the potential to succeed at whatever goal they set for themselves. We can’t wait to help your student celebrate their high school accomplishments and for them to continue onto their higher education journey.
