Mrs. Kate Chapman: First Grade TeacherMrs. Kate Chapman

Number of years teaching/working at Legacy School: 18 years teaching/ three and a half years at Legacy

My favorite thing about Legacy School is: The small class sizes allow me to know how each of my students learns and what their strengths and weaknesses are.

The most rewarding part of teaching/working at Legacy is: the hugs from students and the ability to teach students where they are on their academic journey.

Something fun/unique you might not know about me is: When I was in middle school, I was a Christi Clown – aka Clown for Christ. We would dress in full clown attire and go to functions to entertain kids. One of the functions we went to was the spina bifida foundation in Fremont. We would also go to the mall during Christmas time and paint faces.
