Our two daughters have been attending Legacy School for three years now. Before attending Legacy, our now third grader attended a local public school for Kindergarten. She had a wonderful experience at the public school and loved it. However, then COVID hit, and the school shut down’s followed. Our family could not absorb the proposed schedule of the public school system, so we started interviewing local private schools.
We interviewed about three other private schools along with Legacy. When we met with Buffy and Kelly, it felt like “home.” It felt “right” for our family. Buffy, Kelly, and their whole staff are all so kind and caring. Everyone treats our children like they would their own.
Their teaching staff is incredible and always goes above and beyond. Their administrative staff is so responsive and helpful. Almost every employee of the school knows almost every child’s name. It’s honestly quite impressive. They are very organized and communicative. They have had a lot to navigate through with COVID and, in our opinion, have done a remarkable job. We feel like the education our children are receiving is top-notch. They make learning fun and adventurous instead of boring and tedious. Both of our children are thriving and are so happy. They love going to school and are literally sad on the days they don’t get to go. That is very telling to us.
Legacy has been such a blessing to our family, and we will forever be thankful for them. We highly recommend Legacy School to any and all parents considering a private school.

Outdoor Education
Legacy School sits on an 11 acre campus, allowing for expressive, outdoor educational experiences for all students. Our outdoor learning and playing space allows for real world experiences that cannot be found anywhere else. We utilize our unique location, with 11 acres of land for outdoor education and outdoor play, thus giving students a chance to spend more time in an outdoor education setting.
Legacy Scholarship
We are proud to announce Legacy School’s Scholarship Program. Students who attend Legacy from 1st-5th grade are eligible for a $500 scholarship towards higher learning. This scholarship can be used for college or trade school upon graduation from high school. With that said, we are very excited to give back to our students as we know each child has the potential to succeed at whatever goal they set for themselves. We can’t wait to help your student celebrate their high school accomplishments and for them to continue onto their higher education journey.
