Gearing Up For Summer Camp

Legacy School students only have 2 more full days of school, then the Spring Fling next Wednesday for one last day of fun! With that said, we are all thinking about it: Summer! Days when we get to swim, chat with our friends, and be out in nature 24/7. During the summer, Legacy School transitions to Summer Camp Legacy. Students do not need to attend Legacy School to attend camp during the summer, as students from all over the area (Preschool-6th grade) attend!

Gearing Up For Summer Camp

With the first day of camp approaching quickly, there has been quite a few changes seen on the 11 acres!

Nature Based Playground Summer Camp

On April 27th, Legacy families and staff worked together to move the playground from the west end of Legacy’s building to the east end. This is due to a expansion project to add on 4 additional classrooms for our elementary program. Lower Campers (ages 3-5) will get to experience the NEW nature based playground throughout the summer.

Paddle Boats

NEW this year for campers that have finished 5th and 6th grade is paddle boating and fishing at Flanagan Lake; the new lake across the street from Camp Legacy. Paddle boats came in last weekend, May 11th!

Waterslide Summer Camp

The NEW waterslide was rolled out Wednesday afternoon! Campers that have finished kindergarten-6th grade get to experience racing their friends on this double slide waterslide!

Students at Legacy School worked hard Tuesday and Wednesday to plant the garden. Throughout the summer, campers will have the chance to work in the garden, if they choose. Then, in the fall, Legacy School students will harvest the crops, which will be used in our farm-to-table lunch option!

This scholarship can be used for college or trade school upon graduation from high school. We are very excited to give back to our students. We know each child has the potential to succeed at whatever goal they set for themselves. cCan’t wait to help your student celebrate their high school accomplishments and continue to their higher education.
